WMET-A/Washington Flips To Standards

IDT CORP. News/Talk WMET-A/WASHINGTON is ditching the chat and bring in the standards, as the station changes formats to "Music Of Your Life."

"There has been a huge hole in radio formats for many years since 'The Music Of Your Life' left the WASHINGTON, DC airwaves," commented WMET-A GM DENNIS ISRAEL. "We've decided to bridge that gap. Fans have been clamoring for its return, and now the songs and the stars are back."
