Univision's Plasencia Opens Marketing Firm

UNIVISION RADIO NETWORK Corporate VP/OM JORGE PLASENCIA has exited his post and teamed with COSMYK ADVERTISING AGENCY head LUIS CASAMAYOR to launch REPUBLICA, a MIAMI-based full-service branding, advertising and communications company. REPUBLICA will take on COSMYK's clients and serve the U.S. Hispanic market and LATIN AMERICA, with PLASENCIA as Chairman/CEO and CASAMAYOR as Pres./Chief Creative Officer.

"I have always aspired to form a company that would combine my diverse professional background with my passion for the U.S. Hispanic market," said PLASENCIA, who has also worked in marketing for ESTEFAN ENTERPRISES and the FLORIDA MARLINS.
