Alpha Media Supports Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

During the month of OCTOBER, ALPHA MEDIA markets across the U.S. worked hard to support and raise funds for AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY’S MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER campaign.

ALPHA MEDIA held an internal competition to see which market could donate the most to the cause and Triple A KINK/PORTLAND, OR lead with $9,391.

MITCH ELLIOT from KINK joined the REAL MEN WEAR PINK CAMPAIGN. “I was frustrated so many loved ones had been diagnosed with breast cancer and I wanted badly to do something, I just didn’t know what.  When I heard about REAL MEN WEAR PINK, I knew I could use my giant ‘megaphone’ at KINK to raise awareness and money,” said ELLIOT

ELLIOT’s initial goal was $2,500, but KINK listeners came thru in droves and he was able to raise over $9,000.
