Two Join Greater Public Board, Two Exit

Two new members are joining the Board of Directors and two are leaving the board at GREATER PUBLIC, the public media development support organization. Joining the board are OREGON PUBLIC BROADCASTING President/CEO STEVE BASS and PRX CEO KERRI HOFFMAN, while JACOBS MEDIA/jacAPPS' PAUL JACOBS, the Board Chair, and WXXI PUBLIC BROADCASTING COUNCIL News-Talk WXXI-A-Classical WXXI-F-PBS affiliate WXXI-TV/ROCHESTER's NORM SILVERSTEIN, the Board Treasurer, are exiting.
UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA Triple A WXPN/PHILADELPHIA's QUYEN SHANAHAN will become Board Chair, and THE SHED's MARGARET HUNT will be Board Treasurer; UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN News-Talk WUOM (MICHIGAN RADIO)/ANN ARBOR's STEVE SCHRAM will serve as Vice Chair, and UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA News-Talk WUNC/CHAPEL HILL's CONNIE WALKER will be Secretary.
