WRKO/Boston Radiothon Raises Over $90,000 For Disabled American Veterans

FRIDAY's all-day radiothon on ENTERCOM News-Talk WRKO-A/BOSTON raised $90,642 for the DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS OF MASSACHUSETTS and its Transportation Program.
The station's daytime local lineup -- morning hosts KIM CARRIGAN and DOUG "VB" GOUDIE, the midday "THE FINANCIAL EXCHANGE WITH BARRY ARMSTRONG," midday host JEFF KUHNER, and afternoon syndicated host HOWIE CARR -- appeared live 6a-8p (RT) at the SEAPORT HOTEL in BOSTON.
PD MICHAEL CZARNECKI said, “The passion the WRKO listeners have for our veterans continues to amaze me year after year! It was an incredible day filled with energy and emotion, and I am so thankful to the DAV and WRKO staff for all of their hard work."
