CBS RADIO Sports WFAN-A-F/NEW YORK has made its decision on who will replace MIKE FRANCESA in afternoons when he leaves the station on DECEMBER 15th, and sister Sports WIP/PHILADELPHIA afternoon "CARLIN AND REESE" co-host and former longtime WFAN personality (and "MIKE AND THE MAD DOG" producer) CHRIS CARLIN confirmed on the air TODAY (11/14) multiple reports, including the NEW YORK DAILY NEWS and NEWSDAY, that have him returning to WFAN for the gig, joined by crosstown ESPN Sports WEPN-F (ESPN NEW YORK 98.7FM) host and former NEW YORK JET BART SCOTT and CBS SPORTS RADIO host MAGGIE GRAY.
ALL ACCESS has reached out to management for comment and did not receive confirmation, but CARLIN talked about the move while explaning his departure on WIP this afternoon. CARLIN said his farewell to PHILADELPHIA on today's show, leaving at about 2:15p.
The station also has a morning show co-hosting slot (the one vacated by CRAIG CARTON after his arrest) to fill soon alongside BOOMER ESIASON.
