iHeartMedia Names Lisa Worden VP/Programming For KYSR/Los Angeles And National Alternative Rock Brand Manager

iHEARTMEDIA has appointed LISA WORDEN VP/Programming for Alternative KYSR (ALT 98.7)/LOS ANGELES, a well as Alternative Rock Brand Manager for iHEARTMEDIA’s National Programming Group.

As VP/Programming, WORDEN will work alongside KYSR PD MIKE KAPLAN; as Alternative Rock Brand Manager, she will lead iHEARTMEDIA’s Alternative Rock Brand Management Team, which provides strategic guidance to more than 25 Alternative Rock music station brands. WORDEN spent the past 22 years across the street at Alternative KROQ, most recently as APD/MD.

She will report to iHEARTMEDIA Chief Programming Officer TOM POLEMAN and National Programming Group EVP/GM BRAD HARDIN. “LISA is widely regarded as an outstanding leader in the Alternative Rock world,” POLEMAN said. “Her relationships are fantastic. She’ll play a key role in helping artists maximize iHEARTMEDIA’s unmatched Alternative footprint.”
