The BROADCASTING COMMISSION OF IRELAND grants a 10-year license to iRADIO for a "youth radio" station serving the NORTHWEST region of IRELAND. The station will be called i105FM and will target 15- to 35-year-olds; the licensee is headed by former NEWSTALK 106-98FM/DUBLIN CEO DAN HEALY, former EO TELEFIS Managing Dir. MAIRE NI THUATHAIL, and KCLR 96 co-founder DEBORAH FAGAN. Launch is expected within a year.
