Three on-air hosts left the CUMULUS KANSAS CITY cluster on FRIDAY (11/17) in cutbacks at News-Talk KCMO-A-K279BI and Classic Hits KCMO-F.
On the AM side, morning host GREG KNAPP and 9-11a (CT) host TOM BECKA have exited, with their former time slots showing on the KCMO website as "KCMO MORNING SHOW" for now. BECKA is continuing his commentaries for FOX affiliate KPTM-TV (FOX 42)/OMAHA.
On the FM side, morning co-host DICK WILSON has exited. The longtime K.C. radio personality had been hosting mornings at the station for 31 years, most recently with RENEE, after several years in mornings with JAY COOPER at crosstown KYYS (KY102). No replacement has been announced, and KCMO-F has gone into all-CHRISTMAS mode for the holiday season.
