COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR (CRS) has announced its three RUSTY WALKER SCHOLARSHIP honorees, all of whom will attend their first-ever CRS in 2018, without paying a penny. This year's recipients are: TOWNSQUARE Country KCTR/BILLINGS, MT MD/on-air personality JENNIFER HAYS, a.k.a. "JENN PARKER;" BUNYARD BROADCASTING Country KCYT/FAYETTEVILLE, AR PD MARK "HAYSTACK" WELLS; and EMPIRE BROADCASTING Country KRTY/SAN JOSE, CA Dir./Promotions JAMIE JACKSON. All three will be recognized during CRS 2018 opening ceremonies at NASHVILLE's OMNI HOTEL.
The RUSTY WALKER Scholarship program was established in 2012 by the COUNTRY RADIO BROADCASTERS, INC. to honor COUNTRY RADIO HALL OF FAME member, the late RUSTY WALKER, who famously mentored so many members of this industry. Each scholarship includes a full CRS 2018 registration, airfare, and accommodations for all three nights at CRS. COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR 2018 will take place MONDAY, FEBRUARY 5th through WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 8th, 2018.
