Activity At FCC Wednesday: Family Transfer, STAs in Virgin Islands, More Pirates Put On Notice

The FCC database was uneventful on the morning before the THANKSGIVING holiday, highlighted by an inter-family transfer, a pair of STA requests from the VIRGIN ISLANDS, and another wave of notices to alleged pirate FM operators.

In the filings, MEDIA MINING GROUP, LLC is transferring Spanish Talk KRDD-A/ROSWELL, NM to CARLOS ESPINOZA; the transferor is comprised of the three children of the late TRINNIE B. ESPINOZA (VALERIE, CHOLENE, and REGINALDO III), and CARLOS is the grandchildren's uncle.

And CLARA COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION has filed for an STA to operate WMNG/CHRISTIANSTED, VI with reduced power due to damage from Hurricane Maria.  Also, RADIO 95, INC. has filed a similar STA request for WJKC/CHRISTIANSTED.
