Director of News and Programming PETER CASEY has exited iHEARTMEDIA News WBZ-A/BOSTON, reports the BOSTON GLOBE.

CASEY had been with WBZ for 24 years, the last 21 as PD. He came to WBZ from the old WHDH-A, where he was an assignment editor, producer, and APD of the station's Talk format. While management declined to respond to ALL ACCESS' request for comment, a memo obtained by DANKENNEDY.NET from iHEARTMEDIA BOSTON SVP Programming DYLAN SPRAGUE said that APD BILL FLAHERTY will be interim PD.
