RTDNA Names 2017 Scholarship, Fellowship Recipients

The RADIO TELEVISION DIGITAL NEWS FOUNDATION has named its scholarship and fellowship recipients for 2017.  The organization is bestowing almost $30,000 to student and new professional journalists for the year.

In a release, the RTDNA said that "This year’s scholarship class includes recipients who are fluent in French and Spanish. Children of single-parent households and children of immigrants. Seven are women of color. From the CONGO to ECUADOR to their own hometowns, they’ve been writing, coding, data visualizing and reporting with compassion..

"They represent the best of journalism’s future in a troubled time."
