Longtime Toronto Host Mark Elliot Retires From Radio (And Retires His Air Name, Too)

Longtime TORONTO radio host MARK ELLIOT has retired from radio. ELLIOT, also an addiction counselor, hosted the long-running weekend show "PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE" on News-Talk CFRB-A/TORONTO and sister News-Talk CJAD-A/MONTREAL in 2001 through last DECEMBER, and also hosted "THE NIGHTSIDE" on CFRB in 2003-07. He previously hosted at stations like CFRA-A and CFGO-A/OTTAWA and CKLW-A/WINDSOR-DETROIT, where "PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE" began in 1995.
With his retirement, ELLIOT is also retiring his air name and is going by his real name, NILS JOHANSON, now. Reach NILS at nilsfjohanson@gmail.com.
