Jill Kempton Named PD For WASH/Washington, D.C.

iHEARTMEDIA AC WASH/WASHINGTON, D.C. taps JILL KEMPTON as PD. She will reports to SVP/Programming-D.C. JEFF KAPUGI.

“There’s been a lot of momentum on WASH-FM this year and JILL has been a part of that remotely,” said KAPUGI. “Now she gets to build on that here in WASHINGTON to dominate the very competitive AC format.”

KEMPTON comes to the WASHINGTON, D.C. Region from sister AC WTLW/NEW YORK, where she most recently served as the APD/MD/Imaging Director. She spent her first eight years in radio at WBEB/PHILADELPHIA.

“I’m very excited for this next chapter in my career,” said KEMPTON. I want to thank everyone involved and I can’t wait to get started working alongside some of the greatest Programming minds in our business.”
