Condolences to family and friends of EASTERN KENTUCKY UNIVERSITY noncommercial News-Talk-Classical WEKU/RICHMOND-LEXINGTON, KY Chief Content Manager JOHN HINGSBERGEN, who died TUESDAY (11/28) at 67 in CINCINNATI.

HINGSBERGEN oversaw content at WEKU and hosted "EASTERN STANDARD" since 2011; his resume included several stations in OHIO, including stints as a host at WVXU/CINCINNATI and PD at WMUB/OXFORD and as a news anchor at WRRM/CINCINNATI, and a term as News Director at WEST VIRGINIA PUBLIC BROADCASTING.

Memorial services are scheduled for MONDAY (12/4) at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME in CINCINNATI and on DECEMBER 11th at BLUEGRASS UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST in LEXINGTON.
