Fox News Radio Offers Christmas, New Year's Specials, New Sunday Morning Political Show Block

FOX NEWS RADIO is offering its affiliates several specials for CHRISTMAS and NEW YEAR'S.

The network will refeed the "ANDREW JACKSON AND THE MIRACLE OF NEW ORLEANS: THE BATTLE THAT SHAPED AMERICA'S DESTINY" special hosted by FNR and FOX NEWS CHANNEL "FOX AND FRIENDS" host BRIAN KILMEADE, who co-wrote a book of the same title.  The special initially fed for THANKSGIVING weekend use.  In addition, CHRISTMAS specials will include the two-hour "TODD STARNES CHRISTMAS" with music from MERCYME, LAURA STORY, and KIRK WHALUM; "A VERY TOM SHILLUE CHRISTMAS"; and "THE WOUNDED WARRIOR EXPERIENCE" hosted by JENNIFER GRIFFIN.

For NEW YEAR'S, FOX will be feeding "2017: WHAT A YEAR!," a year-in-review speciel; "STILL HERE... YET GONE," an in-memoriam show with Managing Editor HANK WEINBLOOM; and a special edition of the podcast "PERINO AND STIREWALT: I'LL TELL YOU WHAT," with DANA PERION moderating a trivia contest between CHRIS STIREWALT and PERINO's husband PETER MCMAHON.

The specials will be posted to the affiliate website by DECEMBER 22nd.  The network also plans a series of one-minute year end features to be announced shortly, plus the return of the annual TAX TIPS series of features coming in JANUARY.

Also in the cards from FOX NEWS RADIO is a block of political shows for SUNDAY mornings.  "SUNDAY MORNING POLITICS," airing SUNDAYS 9a-noon (ET), will include "PERINO AND STIREWALT: I'LL TELL YOU WHAT"; "FROM WASHINGTON" with JARED HALPERN; and the audio of "FOX NEWS SUNDAY" with CHRIS WALLACE.  The block will launch on JANUARY 28th.
