The INTERACTIVE ADVERTISING BUREAU has upped EVP/COO PATRICK DOLAN to President and has promoted IAB Mobile Marketing Center of Excellence and Video Center SVP/GM ANNA BAGER to EVP of Industry Initiatives. Both will report to CEO RANDALL ROTHENBERG. Also named a VP is SUSAN BORST, formerly Deputy Director of the IAB Mobile Marketing Center of Excellence. EVP/CMO DAVID DOTY recently announced his departure at the end of the year to relaunch his FLATIRON COMMUNICATIONS consultancy.
ROTHENBERG said, “For over a decade, PATRICK has been responsible for much of our organizational stability, proving himself to be an invaluable resource for the IAB leadership team, the Board of Directors, and our members. With this new position, his invaluable expertise and long history with IAB will be leveraged in full force. Likewise, ANNA has a longstanding track record of guiding IAB and its members through dynamic shifts in the industry. She is already recognized as an authority in mobile and video—and the entire ecosystem will surely benefit from her taking on this broader executive role.”
On DOTY's exit, ROTHENBERG added, “DAVID has been instrumental to the growth of IAB. From the invention of our world-class Annual Leadership Meeting to the organization of our Investment and Relations team, from his reconfiguring of the relationship with IAB EUROPE to the growing of our relationships with multiple key member companies, his guidance has been wise and his work vital. We were only 15 people, 200 members, and $6 million in annual revenues when he started here; today, we’re at nearly 70 people, 750 members, and $32 million in revenues – facts that speak buckets to DAVID’s contributions to IAB as our Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer."
