CAPITOL NASHVILLE's LUKE BRYAN paid a surprise visit to LENOX HILL HOSPITAL in NEW YORK CITY on behalf of MUSICIANS ON CALL (MOC), helping to launch MOC's new Music Pharmacy program. Sponsored by PANDORA and BOSE, the Pharmacy program provides bedside access to music, via tablets equipped with PANDORA PLUS subscriptions and BOSE headphones. BRYAN's pop-up visit included room-to-room demonstrations of the gear, plus performances of familiar hits mixed with songs from his just-released "What Makes You Country" album.
"MUSICIANS ON CALL is proud to have music icon LUKE BRYAN with us to unveil our Music Pharmacy program, which uses technology specifically geared towards improving patient mood and experience,” said MUSICIANS ON CALL President PETE GRIFFIN. "Thanks to our partners BOSE and PANDORA, we can offer patients an opportunity to access the healing power of music in between our weekly live performances in their rooms.”
LENOX HILL is one of 60 hospitals involved in the Pharmacy program. In addition to the headphones and PANDORA subscriptions the streaming service has created custom mixtapes promoting positivity and healing. More info on MOC here.
