The ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION's RODNEY HO reports that CUMULUS News-Talk WYAY (NEWS RADIO 106.7)/ATLANTA anchor ROB STADLER's morning news block, the last vestige of the station's former all-News format, has quietly been dropped. STADLER, the former crosstown WSTR (STAR 94.1) personality, had been with WYAY for two years; the news block was dropped last month.
The morning slot is presently open, with talkers MIKE BROOKS and ROB CARSON among the fill-in hosts for now. The slot is labeled "THE NEWS RADIO 106.7 MORNING SHOW" on the station website.
