WBZ-F (98.5 The Sports Hub)/Boston's Marc Bertrand 'Lucky To Be Alive' After Crash On Way To Patriots Game

BEASLEY Sports WBZ-F (98.5 THE SPORTS HUB)/BOSTON midday co-host MARC BERTRAND missed his pre-game and post-game show duties for the NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS' win over TENNESSEE SUNDAY (1/14) but is grateful to be alive after being involved in a serious traffic accident on his way to the game in FOXBORO, MA.

BERTRAND posted on FACEBOOK that he is "lucky to be alive" after his truck was T-boned on Route 1 in NORWOOD, MA; the truck rolled and BERTRAND had to be freed with the Jaws of Life.  "For reasons I cannot explain," BERTRAND wrote, "I am relatively OK. I did sustain injuries but I have already been released from the hospital."  He added that he hopes to be back on the air this week.
