The newly retooled OPIE AND ANTHONY channel on XM SATELLITE RADIO, now called "THE VIRUS," adds new weekend programming, including a "variety show" called "SATURDAY NIGHT VIRUS" and "THE RAZZLE DAZZLE HOUR" block of O&A extras.
"SATURDAY NIGHT VIRUS," a live 9p-midnight ET weekly show, will have rotating hosts from the roster of O&A regulars, starting with comic and VH1 "WEB JUNK 20" host PATRICE O'NEAL, while "THE RAZZLE DAZZLE HOUR," airing 6a and 8p ET SATURDAYS, will consist of two half-hours, one with "THE BEST OF THE WALKS" (the week's "walkover" segments between O&A's CBS and XM studios) and another called "WHEN THE MICS ARE OFF" featuring "exclusive 'off-air' content." The new shows debut on NOVEMBER 25.
