CHARLES M. ANDERSON is selling W224DI/INDIANAPOLIS (formerly in ELIZABEHTOWN, KY) to RADIO ONE OF INDIANA, LLC for $200,000. The translator will rebroadcast Gospel WTLC-A (AM 1310 THE LIGHT)/INDIANAPOLIS.
In other filings with the FCC, JOHN BURDETTE is selling Oldies WJLX-A/JASPER, AL to JAMES D. EARLEY for $115,000 ($6,000 down, $109,000 in 60 monthly payments of $2,007.40).
FCR BROADCASTING INC. is selling W262AF/PARCHMENT, MI to SMILE FM for $30,000. The translator will rebroadcast Contemporary Christian WSIS (SMILE FM)/RIVERSIDE, MI.
Requesting Silent STAs was ONE MINISTRIES, INC. (K201HW/EL PASO, changing antennas; K256BV/HOPLAND, CA, resources constrained by wildfires).
Filing for STAs were RAMAR COMMUNICATIONS INC. (KTXQ-F/LUBBOCK, lower power due to band-pass filter failure); WINE DOWN MEDIA, LLC (KVYN/ST. HELENA, CA, reduced power from temporary facility after wildfires destroyed licensed site); SPIRIT COMMUNICATIONS, INC. (KQXI/GRANITE FALLS, WA, reduced power due to transmitter problems); and FLORIDA BROADCASTING MEDIA, LLC (W260DA/BARTOW, FL, reduced power to alleviate interference with a co-channel station).
And M. CELENZA COMMUNICATIONS, INC. has closed on the sale of W245BA/MANORVILLE, NY to W245BA, INC. for $150,000. The translator rebroadcasts WLIR-F/HAMPTON BAYS, NY, which recently dropped its Contemporary Christian HOPE RADIO format and is airing a Classic Hits format for now.
Rogers Buys Another In Medicine Hat, AB
In CANADA, CLEAR SKY RADIO INC. is selling Classic Hits CJCY/MEDICINE HAT, AB to ROGERS RADIO for an undisclosed price. ROGERS owns Active Rock CKMH (105.3 ROCK) in the market.
