Ed McLaughlin To Receive Broadcasters Foundation Of America's Lifetime Achievement Award

EDWARD F. MCLAUGHLIN, the former President of ABC RADIO NETWORKS and the founder of EFM MEDIA, the production company that brought RUSH LIMBAUGH into syndication, will receive the 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award from the BROADCASTERS FOUNDATION OF AMERICA at its Golden Mike Award dinner on MARCH 5th in NEW YORK. MCLAUGHLIN is Chairman Emeritus of the foundation.
“Receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award from the charitable organization that I have believed in and supported for many years means a great deal to me,” stated MCLAUGHLIN. “I am grateful for the generosity of the broadcasters who make it possible for the BROADCASTERS FOUNDATION to help our colleagues.”
“ED is a visionary who took chances that led broadcasting into uncharted territory and tremendous success,” added foundation Chairman DAN MASON. “His dedication and leadership of the BROADCASTERS FOUNDATION helped advance our mission.
