WSOX Morning Duo As Good As Santa

CUMULUS Oldies WSOX (OLDIES 96.1)/YORK morning duo MAD DOG & RUDY knew they needed to do something when they heard of the presents for inner-city children that were were swiped in "grinch-like" fashion only weeks before an "Evening With Santa" was to take place locally at the VONI B. GRIMES GYM.

"If anyone needs to know people care about them, it's these kids," said MICHAEL "MAD DOG" OVADIA. The duo took the story to the airwaves and hours later were set up outside a local WAL-MART, broadcasting live and asking for help. "After about three hours our station van was half-filled with toys," added RUDY. 

Friends from the YORK COUNTY HARLEY DAVIDSON OWNERS ASSOCIATION heard the duo on the air and brought enough toys to finish the job.
