JOEMYERS PRODUCTIONS, INC. is selling Silent WMJL-A and Classic Hits WMJL-F (MAGIC 102.7)/MARION, KY and a new FM translator to SAMUEL K. STRATEMEYER for $150,000.
In other filings with the FCC, GEORGIA EAGLE MEDIA, INC. is selling W277DI/SYLVANIA, GA to NIA BROADCASTING, INC., part of the $20,000 sale of WSYL-A/SYLVANIA. The translator could not be included until the translator construction permit was granted and the WSYL sale was closed.
BROADCAST COMMUNICATIONS II, INC.has filed for a Silent STA for WMSG-A/OAKLAND, MD due to a problem with a capacitor in the antenna tuning unit.
CAMAX COMMUNICATION GROUP, INC. has requested a Silent STA for WTKE-A/MILTON, FL due to loss of the station's program source.
RADIO GREENBRIER, LLC has applied for a Silent STA for WRON-A/RONCEVERTE, WV while it repairs its transmitter building.
BIG RADIO has filed for an STA to operate W270CW/BELOIT, WI while primary station WGEZ-A/BELOIT is silent due to transmitter problems.
And iHEARTRADIO's AMFM RADIO LICENSES, LLC has requested an STA to operate Sports KGME-A/PHOENIX with adjustments to its antenna after finding one radial in excess of authorized limits; the station is being prepared to file for re-licensing using Method of Moments rules.
Also, an application by CUMULUS for a translator at SALEM, OH on 100.3 FM has been dismissed, and a Petition to Deny filed by MEDIA-COM, INC. has also been dismissed as moot, with the Commission saying that CUMULUS "no longer is pursuing this application."
