WYAY (News Radio 106.7)/Atlanta Rebrands As 'Talk 106.7'

CUMULUS News-Talk WYAY (NEWS RADIO 106.7)/ATLANTA has rebranded as "TALK 106.7," reports the ATLANTA JOURNAL CONSTITUTION's RODNEY HO.

The move recognizes the demise of the last vestige of the station's original all-News format, the morning news block last hosted by ROB STADLER, and the move to conservative Talk in other dayparts. 

The station has been using fill-ins in the morning slot since STADLER's departure, including MIKE BROOKS, ROB CARSON, and BRYAN CRABTREE.  SHANNON BURKE, KIM PETERSON, and BRIAN JOYCE host local shows on the station, with WESTWOOD ONE's MARK LEVIN and RED EYE RADIO, and replays of BURKE and PETERSON's shows filling in the weekday schedule; weekends are largely brokered programming.
