Last OCTOBER (NET NEWS 10/17/17) ALL ACCESS reported that TOM JOYNER signed a two-year contract with REACH MEDIA and announced he would be retiring at the end of it in DECEMBER, 2019.  

However, JOYNER recently told THE ATLANTA CONSTITUTION's RODNEY HO, “I couldn’t get a guaranteed contract after two years,” from URBAN ONE-owned syndicator REACH MEDIA.”

According to HO, “JOYNER doesn’t really want to leave radio and still feels his power for good on his 95 affiliates.”
