KQV/Pittsburgh Sold For $55,000

KQV-A/PITTSBURGH, which recently went dark, has a new owner, as CALVARY, INC. is selling the license to ROBERT M. STEVENS' BROADCAST COMMUNICATIONS, INC. for $55,000 ($11,000 down, $44,000 at closing).  The buyer plans to diplex the station with his Ethnic WEDO-A/MCKEESPORT-PITTSBURGH.  KQV shut down at the end of 2017 after several years as a News station.

In other filings with the FCC, AWARE, INC. is selling Classic Hits KANA-A/ANACONDA, MT to TED AUSTIN's SOUTHWEST MONTANA MEDIA LLC for $25,000.

SAMUEL JORDAN is selling his 50% interest in GREATER CORRY AREA BROADCASTING, LLP, licensee of Full Service WWCB-A/CORRY, PA to WILLIAM STAFFORD for $15,000.  STAFFORD is reorganizing the station's ownership under the name ROUTE 6 BROADCASTING AREA PARTNERSHIP and granting 5% interest each to REBECCA STAFFORD and RUTH MEILLEUR.

UNIVERSAL BROADCASTING OF NEW YORK, INC. has filed for a Silent STA for WTHE-A/MINEOLA, LONG ISLAND, NY after being evicted from its transmitter site.

BATESVILLE BROADCASTING CO., INC. has requested an extension of its Silent STA for WJBI-A/BATESVILLE, MS due to economic difficulties.

TROY L. HALL has closed on the sale of Religion WTTI-A and W227DG/DALTON, GA to HOPE BROADCASTING, INC. for $10.

ROBERT J INGSTAD's KKAA, LLC has closed on the sale of KQKD/REDFIELD, SD to I3G RADIO, LLC, owned by himself and siblings TODD INGSTAD and TALLIE COLVILLE, for $25,000 and Silent KKAA-A/ABERDEEN, SD, also to I3G RADIO, LLC, for $60,000.

And SPOTLIGHT BROADCASTING OF NEW ORLEANS, LLC has closed on the sale of K250BA/SLIDELL, LA to LATINOS BROADCASTING, INC. for $220,000.
