COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR (CRS) continued its years-long dive into the world of small market radio with today's (2/6) "Small Market 101: Raising You Bottom Line One Strategy At A Time" panel. Featuring WIBL/BLOOMINGTON, IN OM/PD/MD JOSH ROBERTS, ZIMMER/COOKEVILLE Asst. GM JONATHAN MONK, and WXFL/FLORENCE, AL OM/PD FLETCH BROWN and Dir./Digital Marketing HALLEY PHILLIPS, the panel was moderated by MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS' TOM BALDRICA concentrated on revenue-generating ideas and promotions fit for small market stations.
Placing emphasis on strategies and tools to help markets of any size create successful promotions and campaigns from the minds of small market sales and programming duos, the panel aimed to help radio staff in all positions to home in on successful strategy and execution tactics, maximize revenue with minimal investment and budget, and share tangible tools to help get started. The panelists each brought real-life examples of how their small staffs have pulled off major events and campaigns.
