Classical Radio Giants Pair In New Syndication Deal

The NEW YORK TIMES' Classical WQXR/NEW YORK and the WFMT RADIO NETWORK (based at Classical WFMT/CHICAGO) have partnered in a new collaboration to produce, promote, and distribute classical programming. WQXR's contribution will involve production and promotion, while WFMT will handle syndication and distribution. The deal is separate from WQXR's management of the CONCERT MUSIC NETWORK unwired classical radio network.
