iHEARTMEDIA has rebranded and reformatted two of its SEATTLE AM stations.
The recently-acquired Sports KFNQ-A (1090 THE FAN), obtained in the swap of stations with ENTERCOM, is rebranding as "1090 KJR," adopting the same name as sister Sports KJR-A but with an all-national lineup of shows from FOX SPORTS RADIO and CBS SPORTS RADIO. Sports KHHO-A (SOUTH SOUND SPORTS 850)/TACOMA is switching to News-Talk as SOUTH SOUND TALK 850, with an all-syndicated lineup including GLENN BECK, ARMSTRONG AND GETTY, TODD SCHNITT, BUCK SEXTON, "GROUND ZERO WITH CLYDE LEWIS," "RECOVERY COAST TO COAST," "BEYOND REALITY," and NBC SPORTS RADIO overnight, plus TACOMA RAINIERS minor league baseball.
"We're glad that we can continue to give the best in sports talk programming to our SEATTLE listeners," said iHEARTMEDIA SEATTLE SVP of Programming RICH MOORE. "With the re-launch of 1090 KJR and SOUTH SOUND TALK 850, the KJR brand in SEATTLE just got even bigger!"
