  VOX MEDIA's entry in the daily news update podcast race is staking out different territory from the competition: the show will aim to explain the day's most important stories and will be posted for listening on weekday afternoons.
  "TODAY, EXPLAINED" will be hosted by public radio veteran and "MORE PERFECT" reporter SEAN RAMESWARAM and will post daily at about 4p (ET) starting next MONDAY (2/19). The podcast follows successful launches of daily morning news update podcasts by THE NEW YORK TIMES ("THE DAILY") and NPR ("UP FIRST") early in 2017.
