Kudos to WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE's BLAKE SHELTON and RYMAN HOSPITALITY PROPERTIES, which donated $50,000 of ticket sales from this past weekend's concerts at SHELTON's OLE RED restaurant, live music venue, and retail space in TISHOMINGO, OK to the CITY OF TISHOMINGO. The donated money will stay in the community to benefit PENNINGTON PARK and assist with improvements to the current splash pad and the addition of water features. PENNINGTON PARK is open from MAY through SEPTEMBER, and the city hopes to have the improvements completed by the 2018 season opening.
"It's always fun to play your hometown, and now that we have OLE RED in TISHOMINGO, we can pop up and play anytime," said SHELTON. "We played a lot of music, had fun, and raised money for PENNINGTON PARK! Now, that's a good time!"
