In the wake of a string of controversies generated by hosts' on-air comments, ENTERCOM Sports WEEI-F/BOSTON is hosting mandatory sensitivity training for its entire staff. Live programming will be suspended 6a-6p (ET) FRIDAY (2/16) to enable all staffers to be in the training sessions.

The most recent controversies involved CHRISTIAN FAURIA using a stereotypical "Asian" accent while imitating TOM BRADY's agent DON YEE, an incident that has resulted in some advertiser pull-outs, and ALEX REIMER criticizing BRADY's daughter for her appearance in an online documentary about her father. The station has long been known for incidents including morning co-host KIRK MINIHANE making poorly-received comments about ERIN ANDREWS and the late ROY HALLADAY, former morning co-host JOHN DENNIS making a comment that was perceived as comparing African-American children to gorillas, and other controversies over the years.
