XETRA-F (91X)/San Diego Debuts Inspired By Music Concert Series To Benefit School Music Programs

LOCAL MEDIA SAN DIEGO Alternative XETRA-F (91X)/SAN DIEGO and the SAN DIEGO COUNTY OFFICE OF EDUCATION have teamed up for "INSPIRED BY MUSIC" concert series to help fund a grant program that is being created to benefit education in SAN DIEGO COUNTY public schools that utilize music as part of the curriculum. 91X and BELLY UP ENTERTAINMENT will produce a series of live shows at MUSIC BOX beginning TUESDAY, MARCH 27th with lovelytheband. The new music discovery concerts will feature up-and-coming artists, with $1 of every ticket sold from the series going to a grant fund operated by the OFFICE OF EDUCATION.
91X PD GARETT MICHAELS said, “91X has always been a passionate champion of new music discovery. We’re excited to team up with the SAN DIEGO COUNTY OFFICE OF EDUCATION and the MUSIC BOX / BELLY UP team to take our passion and transform it into an opportunity to support education that is inspired by music."

Teachers from SAN DIEGO COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS will be able to apply to receive four types of available grants: Music Technology, Teacher Professional Development, Field Trips to Musical Events, Media facilities or Music Museums, and Innovative.
