ROBERT LOCKWOOD JR. passed away on NOVEMBER 21st.
LOCKWOOD was a blues guitarist who recorded for CHESS RECORDS in the 1950s and 1960s. He was a longtime collaborator and studio guitarist for SONNY BOY WILLIAMSON II.
LOCKWOOD had been hospitalized and in critical condition from a blood vessel that had burst in his head since NOVEMBER 3rd. He was 91.
