We already know BIG MACHINE trio MIDLAND have been recognized with three ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARD nominations, earning nods for Vocal Group Of The Year, Best New Vocal Group, and Song Of The Year for "Drinkin' Problem" (NET NEWS 3/1). Now, you can add another accolade, as the AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF INDEPENDENT MUSIC (A2IM) has tapped the band as a 2018 LIBERA AWARD nominee in the Best Country/Americana Album category.
MIDLAND joins fellow nominees LEE ANN WOMACK, "The Lonely, The Loneseome, And The Gone;" DEER TICK, "DEER TICK Vol. 1;" JASON ISBELL AND THE 400 UNIT, "The NASHVILLE Sound;" and THE WILD REEDS, "The World We Built."
