Ken Carson New OM/PD For WYBB And WCOO/Charleston, SC

As first reported in ALL ACCESS last week (NET NEWS 3/8/18), KEN CARSON is officially the new OM/PD for LM COMMUNICATIONS Active Rock WYBB (98 ROCK) and Triple A WCOO (THE BRIDGE)/CHARLESTON, SC replacing MATT POTTER. CARSON will be responsible for all programming and promotional functions for 98 ROCK and 105.5 THE BRIDGE.

CARSON has left his recent position for MIDWEST FAMILY BROADCASTING in SPRINGFIELD, IL as FM Operations Director and PD for News-Talk WMAY-A, and PD/Afternoons for Rock WQLZ, and has a vast programming background, having worked in markets such as HOUSTON, LAS VEGAS, BIRMINGHAM, AL and HARRISBURG, PA.

CARSON told ALL ACCESS, "It’s a dream come true to work with LYNN MARTIN again at the same two radio stations I programed 18 years ago! With GM PAUL SMITH I’m excited to work with a broadcast team that understands the power of local radio. I look forward to tapping into our great staff as we work together to super-serve the CHARLESTON community."
