A man made a phone threat to iHEARTMEDIA/EAU CLAIRE, WI offices, leading to a suspect facing possible charges, reports the EAU CLAIRE LEADER-TELEGRAM.

The caller to the six-station cluster -- which includes Country WQRB (B-95), Classic Country WATQ (MOOSE COUNTRY 106.7), News-Talk WMEQ-A-W292EG, Classic Hits WBIZ-A-W254CN (98.7 THE BREW), Top 40 WBIZ-F (Z100), and Classic Rock WMEQ-F (CLASSIC ROCK 92.1) -- left a threatening message that was on the company's voice mail when employees came to work on MONDAY (3/12). The message included the man's name and phone number; police contacted the man, who said the call was a joke and not intended to make anyone feel threatened. The incident was referred to prosecutors for possible charges, but the man was not arrested.
