Former WFIL & WUSL/Philly Air Talent Barbara Sommers Passes On

R.I.P. Barbara Sommers

ALL ACCESS is saddened to report that former Top 40 WFIL-A/PHILADELPHIA and longtime Urban WUSL (POWER 99)/PHILADELPHIA midday air personality BARBARA SOMMERS suddenly passed away YESTERDAY (3/15).

According to her stepdaughter ASHLEY ROBBE, SOMMERS had some on-going health issues but her death looks to have been from a sudden cardiac arrest. 

ALL ACCESS Pres./Publisher JOEL DENVER added, "BARBARA was so much fun to work with when we were at WFIL together.  Exceptionally talented, full of energy and wit ... she made a room light up when she walked in, and her personality shined through whenever she was on mic."
