Recording artist KENNY G has been tapped for a weekend 10a-2p shift on BROADCAST ARCHITECTURE's soon-to-debut SMOOTH JAZZ NETWORK. The network is set to premiere in JANUARY.
"Ranking among the top 25 selling recording artists in U.S. history, KENNY has made a huge mark on the music world," BA Pres. ALLEN KEPLER said. "As he continues his illustrious recording career, hosting this new network show will deepen KENNY’s relationship with his fans across the U.S. Working with KENNY is a dream come true for me personally."
KENNY said, "I am really excited to be a part of this new network. I think it is a great way for me to personally be in touch with the people around the country who have supported my music for many years. ALLEN KEPLER’s enthusiasm is addictive, and I look forward to working with him to create something new and exciting on a national level. This is going to be a wonderful collaboration but the most important thing is that we are all going to be sharing a lot of good music with the entire country. Let’s go!"
KENNY's appointment rounds out the network's airstaff, whose weekday lineup comprises RAMSEY LEWIS (6-10a), MIRANDA WILSON (10a-3p), DAVE KOZ (3-7p), ANNIE ASHE (7p-midnight) and BILLY RAVEN (midnight-6a). The weekend lineup is made up of BRIAN CULBERTSON (6-10a), KENNY G (10a-2p), NORMAN BROWN (2-7p), PAUL HARDCASTLE (7p-midnight) and BILLY RAVEN (midnight-6a).
