Restructures Regional VPs

In a restructuring of senior management, REGENT COMMUNICATIONS announced the appointment of MARK THOMAS to Regional VP. THOMAS will have operational responsibility for REGENT stations serving the EVANSVILLE, IN; OWENSBORO, KY; FLINT, MI; and ST. CLOUD, MN markets.

REGENT Sr. VP/Operations FRED MURR said, "MARK has been with the company since its founding and has demonstrated outstanding management and leadership capabilities. His experience will be instrumental as we continue to grow and integrate our portfolio of radio station assets."

THOMAS stated, "I am honored by this promotion and look forward to my new leadership responsibilities in our growing company. I will work to ensure that these station clusters are optimally positioned to take advantage of positive developments in our markets and in the industry."

MURR also announced that REGENT RVP MIKE GRIMSLEY will add daily responsibilities for REGENT stations in PEORIA and BLOOMINGTON, IL in addition to LAFAYETTE, LA and EL PASO. REGENT RVP ROBERT AUSFIELD will continue to supervise REGENT stations in ALBANY, WATERTOWN and UTICA-ROME, NY.
