NAB Releases Results Of Radio, TV Board Elections

The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS has announced the results of elections for its radio and TV boards, with two-year terms to commence in JUNE.
The radio board has added BEASLEY MEDIA GROUP EVP/Programming JUSTIN CHASE, TOWNSQUARE MEDIA Co-CEO DHRUV PRASAD, and ZIMMER RADIO Pres. JOHN ZIMMER, while iHEARTMEDIA Pres./Integrated Revenue Strategy HARTLEY ADKINS, CONNOISSEUR MEDIA COO DAVID BEVINS, SOUTH SEAS BROADCASTING Pres. LARRY FUSS, COX MEDIA GROUP Pres. KIM GUTHRIE, FIRST NATCHEZ RADIO GROUP Pres./CEO MARGARET PERKINS, FEDERATED MEDIA VP TONY RICHARDS, MID-WEST FAMILY BROADCASTING Pres. TOM WALKER, and HOWARD UNIVERSITY Urban AC WHUR/WASHINGTON GM JIM WATKINS returning for new two-year terms.
On the television board, the sole elected newcomer is CAPITOL BROADCASTING Pres./COO JIMMY GOODMON, joining returnees GRAHAM MEDIA GROUP Pres./CEO EMILY BARR, GRAY TELEVISION Chairman/Pres./CEO HILTON HOWELL, WPLG TELEVISION INC. ABC affiliate WPLG-TV/MIAMI Pres./GM BERT MEDINA, QUINCY MEDIA Pres./CEO RALPH OAKLEY, and SAGAMOREHILL BROADCASTING Pres. LOUIS WALL; in addition, TV board Chair JORDAN WERTLIEB has appointed NBCUNIVERSAL SVP/Regulatory Affairs MARGARET TOBEY to fill the seat left vacant by her predecessor, MITCH ROSE, who got a promotion to SVP/Congressional and Federal Government Affairs at NBCU's parent COMCAST.
