WGCI/Chicago Cancels Concert For Safety & Security Reasons

iHEARTMEDIA Urban WGCI/CHICAGO canceled the “TAKE OVER JAM” concert at the CHICAGO THEATER last night (3/29) because of safety and security concerns, reports ROBERTFEDER.com.
The concert had been scheduled to celebrate the third anniversary of the CHICAGO MORNING TAKEOVER show, hosted by KYLE SANTILLIAN, KENDRA GILLIAMS and LEON ROGERS.
According to FEDER, CHICAGO THEATRE Owner MADISON SQUARE GARDEN ENTERTAINMENT said, “We have been advised by CHICAGO Law enforcement to cancel tonight’s #TakeOverJam due to specific safety and security concerns for the surrounding area. As a result, we regret that the event has been canceled.”
Refunds were offered to ticket holders.
