The Atlantic To Debut 'Crazy/Genius' Podcast, Names Katherine Wells Executive Producer Of Podcasts

THE ATLANTIC has added a third podcast to its portfolio and has brought back a former video producer for the company to oversee podcast production.

The new show is "CRAZY/GENIUS," hosted by Senior Editor DEREK THOMPSON and looking at the "intersection of technology and culture, focusing on how new ideas and inventions are changing the world," according to a press release from the magazine.  The podcast will debut in early MAY and is being exclusively underwritten by HBO to promote the return of "WESTWORLD."

Returning to THE ATLANTIC from GIMLET MEDIA is KATHERINE WELLS, who will serve as Executive Producer of Podcasts.  WELLS worked with THE ATLANTIC's video unit ATLANTIC STUDIOS before joining GIMLET to work as Executive Producer of "EVERY LITTLE THING."
