Capitol Ups Weathersby To Sr. Dir.

CAPITOL RECORDS NASHVILLE announced today that DIXIE WEATHERSBY has been promoted to Sr. Dir./Media & Public Relations. She will remain based in NASHVILLE and continue to report to Sr. VP/Marketing FLETCHER FOSTER.

“DIXIE’s contributions in building this label’s publicity department, as well as her contributions in the development of our artists over the past three and a half years, have been truly apparent,” says FOSTER. “I’m really glad that we can recognize her hard work and dedication.”

WEATHERSBY previously held the title of Dir./Media & Public Relations and has been with CAPITOL for three years. Prior to joining CAPITOL WEATHERSBY was Sr. Publicist for CMT and before that was Media Relations Manager for the CMA.
