Zimmer Radio Group/Columbia-Jefferson City Renews Deal For Mizzou Sports

ZIMMER RADIO GROUP’s COLUMBIA-JEFFERSON CITY cluster has agreed to a five-year extension of its deal with LEARFIELD's MIZZOU SPORTS PROPERTIES to air UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI athletics on Classic Rock KCMQ, Sports KTGR-A-K278BG-K286CL, Sports KTGR-F, and News-Talk KWOS-A-K283CL. The four stations will continue to simulcast football, men's basketball and coaches shows; KWOS 950 AM / 104.5 FM will air football game broadcasts live, while baseball and women's basketball games will air on KTGR-A and KTGR-F. Also included in the deal are broadcasts of select Olympic sports events an promotional opportunities.

"KCMQ is a 100,000-watt radio station that can be heard from ST. CHARLES to WARRENSBURG and from FORT LEONARD WOOD to MARK TWAIN LAKE. It has tremendous reach for MIZZOU fans and blankets MID-MO."
