Former KHAY/Ventura, CA PD Mark Hill Needs Our Help

ALL ACCESS is appealing to radio friends of former CUMULUS Country KHAY/OXNARD-VENTURA PD MARK HILL, who has been battling prostate cancer, and is in desperate need of a wheelchair van in order to commute to his medical treatments. HILL, who has lost the use of one leg, recently started a GOFUNDME page and is seeking to raise $30,000. See his page, and his video appeal here.

WHITNEY ALLEN, host of "THE BIG TIME WITH WHITNEY ALLEN," is a longtime friend and former employee of HILL, tells ALL ACCESS, "MARK gave me my first on-air job; I will never ever forget that." Upon reconnecting with HILL years later at COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR, says ALLEN, "He, my first boss, was proud of me. That meant a lot; even that he remembered me. It had been over 20 years. I am hoping that the radio community can help a guy who has devoted his life to radio and good causes. I have never heard a mean word out of his mouth. Ever."
