Hollywood Group Files Brief In Indecency Case

A group of HOLLYWOOD producers has filed an amicus brief in the Third Circuit Court of Appeals proceeding over the FCC's indecency ruling in the CBS-JANET JACKSON-SUPER BOWL halftime case.
The CENTER FOR CREATIVE VOICES IN MEDIA charged that the FCC's ruling in the case was arbitrary and inconsistent with other Commission indecency decisions and leaves them unsure what material violates the ban. Included in the 61-page filing is the organization's earlier white paper, "Big Chill: How the FCC’s Indecency Decisions Stifle Free Expression, Threaten Quality Television, and Harm America’s Children."
